Cannon Missioner

The Rev. Bertram Bennett, Jr. serves as the Canon Missioner for the Church without Walls.  Fr. Bennett grew up in East Harlem, NYC and has served some forty years as a priest in the South Bronx, a Curate at St. Margaret’s Church and the Priest in Charge of St. David’s Church for 37 years.  He is also the President of the faith-based community organizing group, South Bronx Churches.  Earlier in his work with SBC he leads the effort to build some 1,000 private homes for low middle-income people who desired to own their homes and was pivotal in the renovation of hundreds of apartments for people seeking Affordable Housing.  He has also served on various commissions and committees of the Diocese of New York and in the local communities.  Father Bennett graduated from……, ….. and holds a Masters of Divinity from the General Theological Seminary in NYC.

Latina and Pastoral Missioner

The Rev. Gladys Diaz is our Missioner for our work with all the congregations in assiting the English congregations in becoming more Bi-Cultural in worship and ministry and is especially charged with ministry at San Juan Bautista, our Spanish speaking congregation.  It is the hope of the CWW to establish an additional Spanish speaking congregation in the Southwest Bronx in the near future.  Mother Gladys is also our lead priest in ministering to the Sick and shut-ins and those in the hospitals.  Her ministry also includes training of Lay Eucharistic and Visitor Eucharistic Ministers.   She serves of various commissions and committees of the Diocese and National Church.   She is a graduate of ….., …..  …and was born and raised

Special Projects Administrator

Peter C. Saros is our Special Projects Administrator who works on a multitude of projects for the congregations and the CWW as a whole.  Major aspects of his work include parish administrative systems, Stewardship and funding, program staff supervision and Church Growth.  Peter is an independent Church Consultant in Parish Development, Stewardship, Capital Campaigns and Church Growth throughout the Episcopal Church.  He also serves as the Chair of the Diocesan Leadership Development Commission and is a member of the Diocesan Council and the budget committee and the budget committee. He is a graduate of Long Island University, holds a Master of Divinity from the General Theological Seminary and has been active for over 40 years in the Episcopal Church work in the Bronx.

Administrative Assistant

Ms. Beatrice Price is the Administrative Assistant for the CWW.  Beatrice is a lifelong resident of the Bronx and has served as the Secretary to the Bishop of New York, the Archdeacon for Mission and served in that role to the South Bronx Inter-Parish Council, the Bronx Council and St. David’s Church.  She handles the administrative office and communications for and in between the various congregations, their leaders and members.  She is a graduate of ………

Young Family and Community Organizer

Ms. Yeissi Alvarez is our Young Family and Community Organizer.  Her responsibilities include Kid’s Church (our Sunday School), the Youth Group, our Saturday Children’s Trips, and supervising our English as a Second Language Programs.  She works with the parents and children in the church and community to build relationships and provide needed support services to all.  She is a NYC School Teacher in Special Education and holds a Masters in Education from ………

Choir and Community Music Director

Octavia Bradley is our Choir Director of our five choirs and all of our music programs are open to members of the community who like to sing.  Octavia brings to us an enormous background in Choral singing in church gospel and contemporary singing.  Our choirs encompass people of all ages including the children and youth and Octavia’ energy is felt by all.  She is an accomplished soloist and works full time  in singing, writing music and working with others in performances.  She grew up in ……… and has been in NYC for the last few years, she attended……….,,…….

Director of Marketing and Social Media

Crystal Santana is our director of Marketing and Social Media.  Crystal has an immense background in Marketing and Social Media, having designed websites and marketing strategies for numerous Artist and small business owners.  She also owns her own small business involed in Marketing, Web Design and Social Media.  Many of her clients are artists and musicians who are active in community projects, she also will be training the young people in our youth groups in graphics and web applications.  She was raised in the NYC area all her life.

Congregational Musicians

Eric is our musician for St. Simeon’s for the last ten years or so.  He is active in education and theater.

Terence is our musician for St. David’s for the last ten years or so.  He has an extensive background in piano.

Juan Felippe is our musician for San Juan Bautista for the last 25 years or so.  Juan is also our Hispanic Music consultant for all the Congregations in the CWW and has years’ experience in Latin Music performances and groups.  He is also the Music Director at a Seventh Day Adventist church.
